Did you know, this year, the nation honors fallen officers from across the country during the week of May 9th – May 15th? That’s this week! Even though we’re already a couple days into the week, there is still so much we can do to recognize the officers of our local communities and across the country. A simple “thank you” or to offer to buy a cup of coffee for an officer or two can truly go a long way.
This past year has been unusually stressful between COVID and the political climate but let’ not forget how many police officers out there in this great country truly love their jobs and helping to keep their communities safe. Let’s keep them all in our thoughts and prayers, especially this week, as we take a full week out of our year to honor the sacrifices that these brave men and women make every day with little to no gratitude for.
This year is especially exciting for us for this week. Every year, in Washington, DC there is an event that honors the fallen officers during the past year, the National Law Enforcement Memorial. During this 33rd annual event being held this year on May 13, Bio-One can proudly say that we are an official sponsor of the event! This opportunity is accepted with great admiration and respect for those fallen officers and we are so proud to be able to help contribute both financially and with emotional support to all the affected.
Bottom line, show some love for the thin blue line. After all, we all don’t always have to agree with each other, but it’s the sacrifices these officers make that allow us the safety to do so.
